MODEL 2010 TRAILER MOUNTED QUINTUPLEX FRACTURING PUMPER DIESEL ENGINE hydraulic starter Heavy duty 24 volt, 75 amp alternator Hydraulic starter Engine throttling shall be accomplished by DDEC control system from the remote suitcase Turbochargers & Blower with holder New Detroit Diesel 12V4000 diesel engine as follows: Rated output 2250 gross BHP (+/-5%) @ 1900 RPM on an Intermittent/continuous basis SAE 0 flywheel and flywheel housing with Emergency Shutdown The emergency shutdown solenoid shall be operated electrically. A shielded micro-switch shall energize the electric shutdown attached to the engine. Exhaust system that shall consist of two exhaust stacks attached to the residential grade muffler connection on the engine and terminate with a rain cap Engine mounting The engine shall be vibration isolated from the trailer by means of rubber pads and a front engine vibration trunnion mount. This makes the engine transmission mount combination basically a single unit and allows mounting system with flexible mounts at the rear. Air cleaners The air cleaners utilized on this engine shall be heavy duty 1-stage dry type filter assemblies with aluminum pre-cleaners Jacket water cooling A radiator shall be utilized for achieving jacket water cooling. The radiator assembly includes five sections, one of which is utilized for engine jacket water, and the other four of which are utilized for transmission torque converter oil, hydraulic system oil, quintuplex pump power end lubrication oil and diesel fuel. The radiator is designed to perform at high ambient temperatures without exceeding any of the manufacturers’ recommended maximum operating temperatures and is approved by DDA for frac service. The tank is equipped with quick fill deairation. A ladder will be on the radiator assembly. Full flow lube oil filters Primary and secondary fuel filters Manual fuel priming pump Engine oil pumps shall be equipped with oil drain hoses, valves and plugs Transmission oil cooler TRANSMISSION The engine is attached to an Allison S9820M (2250 HP) powershift transmission which shall drive through a Twin Disc, Spicer GWB or equivalent universal driveshaft assembly, i.e., the quintuplex pump and gear reduction box. The transmission shall include the following accessories: TC 1080 torque converter Transmission powershift Electrically activated hydraulic shift assembly SAE 0 mounting Lockup clutch Output shaft disc brake assembly External torque converter oil cooling circuit Converter lockup inhibitor Auxiliary output adapter plate on back of oil pump drive gear for the quintuplex pump power and lubrication pump Transmission oil sump to be equipped with oil drain hose, valve and plug Gear ratios are as follows: 1st - 3.75:1 2nd - 2.69:1 3rd - 2.20:1 4th - 1.77:1 5th - 1.58:1 6th - 1.27:1 7th - 1.00:1 8th - .72:1 (blocked) The driveline utilized for connecting the deck transmission to the quintuplex pump is a GWB that shall not exceed the manufacturers’ recommended maximum angle under normal operating condition. The driveline shall include a removable metal guard. HIGH PRESSURE PUMPING SYSTEM Each unit shall be supplied with a Grander Denver 2500 quintuplex pump. This pump shall be horizontal, single acting type with 8” stroke and 5” diameter plungers. Pump will be per your specifications. Spline pinion shaft – LH drive No tach drive assembly required for rate meter/totalizer hookup (omitted) Fluid end assembly w/ 5” diameter plungers RSL acid/frac service self-adjusting packing assemblies Premium valves and seats Discharge gauge connection assembly One 3” 1502F discharge flange – RH & LH 8” suction manifold w/ Victaulic grooves each end & w/o valve lifter assemblies Supplied and installed on each pump will be: Plunger packing grease system with grease reservoir and check valves, etc. Power end lubrication system with a lubrication pump mounted on deck transmission, a lube oil cooler and a cooling piping system that will include a bypass which will cause the oil to bypass the cooler until the oil reaches minimum operating temperature Supplied and installed on the quintuplex pump center gauge connection will be a Viatran 0-15,000 PSI pressure transducer with Fig. 1502 hammer union connection. This pressure transducer will be connected to the pressure display system on the remote plastic control suitcase. A complete suction manifold will be installed on this pump. This will include four (4) 4” Fig. 100 suction inlets together with 4” butterfly valves; pulsation dampner. CONTROL AND INSTRUMENTATION SYSTEM TRAILER MOUNTED SYSTEM/LOCAL GAUGE CABINET This cabinet will be isolated from the trailer by shock mounts and have a hinged and sealed front cover. Instruments installed in this cabinet will be electronic controls. LOCAL ELECTRICAL INTERCONNECT CABINET Installed next to local gauge panel will be a NEMA 4X shock mounted plastic local electrical interconnect cabinet mounted via shock isolators to skid. Cabinet is equipped with hinged sealed front cover. Cabinet will include all inboard electrical signal and control connections. REMOTE MOUNTED CONTROL PANEL Supplied with the unit shall be a remote plastic suitcase mounted control and instrument panel with weather tight cover which shall include the following DDEC controls: Engine throttle Transmission shifter Lock up inhibitor switch Electric power on/off Transmission brake Engine emergency shutdown Engine normal shutdown Lamp test switch Power switch Engine start The instrumentation included in the remote suitcase mounted control and instrument panel shall include the following: J 1939 digital engine monitoring gauge system Torque converter status indicator light Quintuplex pump pressure gauge with overpressure reset control Quintuplex pump flow meter Quintuplex pump flow total Supplied with this remote suitcase shall be 100’ of control cable that shall connect the remote suitcase to the local electrical interconnect cabinet via suitable multiple conductor cable connectors. TRAILER SYSTEM This will be a spread axle heavy duty construction single drop trailer with the following features: Total length 39 ft. (96” width) 52” King pin setting Tandem axle suspension (spread type) Brakes air type (ABS type) Axles 2 ea. oil bath 11.00 R 22.5 radial tires 8.25 X 22.5 wheels Landing legs 160,000 lb. (or equivalent) Lights mounted stop/turn clearance Mud flaps Full fenders Rear bumper with tow ring (pull plate), lead pipe saddle to bumper The trailer will have a 400 gallon capacity fuel system with complete fuel distribution system including filters, strainers, tank crossover lines with ball valves, suction and return connections.
